Purpose of the data collection 

We analyzed the crypto wallet market dynamics in the context of mobile applications. 

Who will benefit from this research?

Cryptocurrency users, Web3 marketing specialists, and investors can use the data on the dynamics of mobile crypto wallets to identify the industry leaders and possibly copy and implement successful strategies.

Crypto Wallet Statistics Apple Store & Google Play (UK, USA, June 2023)

We collected the top 10 applications from App Store and Google Play search results by the keyword ‘Crypto wallet’, and added data on key metrics. We chose English since it’s the key language of international communications and prioritized two regions—the US and the UK—and below are our insights. 

We selected App Rating and Number of ratings (the number of users who rated the app) as the main metrics for the application analysis in App Store. Unfortunately, the App Store, unlike Google Play, does not allow anyone to collect statistics on the total number of installations of the apps.

* Rating 4.5>  |  Rating <4.5 - The rating strongly influences the decision to download the app. We believe it should be at least 4.5

Then we selected App Downloads, App Rating, and Total rates as the main metrics for the application analysis in Google Play. Google Play provides statistics on the number of downloads of the application.
